Chinese Hackberry Specimen in a Sara Rayner Pot

$850.00

This is in our bonsai soil mix (Red Lava, Black Lava, Hyuga Pumice, and Akadama). The tree pictured is the tree you will receive but will change in appearance depending on the season of your purchase. At the time of these photos (Spring 2024) this tree was around 11inches in height from the soil to the top of the tree with a 1 inch trunk. The pot is 9 inches wide.

The History of This Tree:

This Chinese Hackberry was an air layer cut off in 2008. It was air layered because it had great movement and interesting branches. It was put in this Sara Rayner pot in 2021 and was rewired and repotted in the Spring of 2024. This one really has a bright future to be a fabulous specimen. The pot has a really interesting look and texture. It showcases the trunk well. Small but mighty.
